Warradale Urban Camp School provides good quality accommodation at a reasonable cost.  Its priority is to serve as a base for country schools including remote and isolated schools to successfully undertake educational, cultural, sporting and work experience programs in an urban environment.  Bookings for city schools, sporting and community groups, and disability groups are also available.

The Warradale Urban Camp School provides high quality accommodation with bright colours and landscaped outdoor barbecue areas.  Kitchens provide excellent commercial standard cooking facilities.  Camp Sites 1 and 2 can be booked separately or as a combined campsite for larger groups, providing dormitory style accommodation for up to 80 students plus Leaders.  The site is fully air-conditioned and heated, has monitored security and fire alarms and private staff facilities.  Car park is conveniently located at the site for campers’ vehicles.

Priority is given to Dept for Education country schools before any other groups.  DfE country schools will be notified of their confirmed booking for the following year before the end of term 4.  Other bookings will be confirmed after this time.  The camp office can be contacted during the school year for vacancies. 

The camp school is under the management of Warradale Primary School and the camp school office is located at the school administration block.

How to find us

Access to the city by private transport is around 20 minutes.

Public transport via bus and train is within easy access.

Warradale Urban Camp School is situated at 370 Morphett Road, Warradale, approximately 12 kms from the CBD.

Bus from Westfield shopping Centre (Marion) proceeds to the city – Victoria Square, North Terrace, Festival Centre via Diagonal Road and Morphett Road. Bus stop number 27 (for bus 241 to go to city and back to camp school) is located in front of the camp school near the pedestrian crossing. Travel by bus to city will take approximately 50 minutes during peak hours.

The Oaklands Park railway station is about ten minutes walk from the camp school. The journey to city by express train will take about 25 minutes.
