Accommodation

Warradale Urban Camp School consists of two sites (Camp School 1 & Camp School 2) in the same building and each school has its own facilities.

Camp School 1 can accommodate 35 people consisting of 2 dormitories, 3 staff rooms, open plan kitchen and lounge area.

Camp school 2 can accommodate 52 people consisting of 2 dormitories, 4 staffrooms, large open planned kitchen and lounge area.

Separate bathroom facilities for staff and students.  Staff facilities include disabled shower/toilet area in each camp school.  Each Camp School has a Laundry room with Washing machine, dryer and iron.

Bedding

Campers need to bring a covering to place over mattresses (eg fitted or flat sheet), plus sleeping bag or quilt, pillow and personal toilet items.

Camp School 1
  • There are two dormitories, one for boys and one for girls.
  • Each dormitory has 6 bunks and 4 single beds (16 students).
  • For extra students trundles & extra mattresses are available.
  • Staff: There are 3 single rooms each with 1 single bed, 2 can accommodate an extra trundle bed.  Students can use these rooms.
Camp School 2
  • There are two dormitories each with 10 bunks (20 students)
  • For extra students trundles & extra mattresses are available.
  • Staff: 2 rooms have 2 sets of Bunks, 1 room has 1 set of bunks and 1 room has 2 single beds.  Students can use these rooms.

Courtyards & BBQ

  • Attached to the building are pleasant, paved courtyards, with pergola and outdoor settings.
  • There are large gas built in BBQ’S available for use.
  • These are excellent areas for outdoor eating or planned activities.

Kitchen & Dining

  • Each Camp School has its own kitchen with an adjoining self-serving area.
  • This area can double as an activity/work area if necessary.
  • The kitchen at each camp school is equipped with the full range of cooking equipment, utensils, cutlery and commercial dishwashers.
  • There are tables and chairs in both dining areas.

Recreation Area / Sport Facilities

Recreation Area

In each Camp School the Lounge area, adjacent to the kitchen/dining areas, contain a TV, DVD player and Lounge chairs.

Sport Facilities

The Warradale Primary School oval and grassed areas are adjacent to the camp school. 

A shelter shed is available for outside undercover activities, currently set up with several table tennis tables which can easily be packed up and rolled to the side.

Users are encouraged to bring their own equipment.  If this is not possible please contact the Camp School Office to negotiate items required. All equipment borrowed will be the responsibility of the hirer.
